Website & Digital Marketing Overhaul for University Language Services
Motivation
University Language Services needed a fast, efficient digital update to improve site visibility, lead generation, and overall marketing infrastructure. The company’s website was outdated, lacked modern SEO practices, and had limited flexibility for marketing campaigns. The goal was to modernize their digital presence and lay the groundwork for long-term growth in a short project window.
My Role & Contributions
As a Web Development Consultant, I took ownership of the site modernization effort. Key contributions included:
- Revamping the WordPress CMS and implementing SEO/SEM best practices to improve visibility and organic traffic
- Designing and launching high-converting product landing pages to support lead generation goals
- Developing responsive, ESP-compatible HTML emails based on static designs to support email campaign launches
- Providing strategic recommendations for a scalable content and campaign infrastructure
Challenges
Working within a short project timeframe, the key challenge was delivering technical improvements that would produce immediate performance benefits while creating a scalable foundation for future campaigns. I had to modernize existing assets without disrupting day-to-day business operations.
Results & Success Metrics
The updated website and new landing pages led to a noticeable increase in online engagement and lead conversions. Improved SEO practices boosted organic traffic, while the email templates supported successful initial campaigns. My work positioned University Language Services for long-term digital growth and helped build a more modern and efficient marketing foundation.
This project reflected my ability to quickly assess, design, and implement impactful web and marketing solutions that align with both short-term goals and long-term strategy.
