Ad Banner Development for Zelis at O2KL

Motivation

Zelis needed a series of HTML5 ad banners to promote their healthcare payment optimization solutions across digital advertising platforms. The banners had to meet various size, performance, and compliance requirements while staying true to the company’s brand standards.

My Role & Contributions

As the developer on the project, I was responsible for bringing static banner designs to life using clean, efficient code. My contributions included:

• Developing a full set of responsive, animated HTML5 banners in multiple standard sizes
• Creating static fallback versions for platforms with limited animation support
• Optimizing file sizes to meet strict ad platform requirements without sacrificing visual quality
• Ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices through thorough testing
• Collaborating closely with designers and project managers to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery

Challenges

The biggest technical challenge was maintaining consistency and fluid animations across a variety of banner sizes while keeping all files within strict file size limits. I applied custom optimization techniques and reusable code components to streamline development and performance.

Results & Success Metrics

The banners were successfully implemented across a range of ad networks. They performed well in terms of click-through rates and were delivered on time, earning positive feedback from the Zelis marketing team for both execution quality and efficiency.

This project demonstrated my strengths in front-end development, ad platform compliance, and efficient collaboration with creative and marketing teams.
